Where can I pay?

There are kiosk machines on location, and it's also possible to pay online.

I visited earlier today. Do I have to pay if I visit a second time today?

The payment lasts the whole day, no matter how often you come and go.

Do I need to pay separately for each parking lot at Þingvellir?

One payment covers all parking lots for the whole day.

Can I pay in advance?

Paying in advance is okay. We strongly recommend contacting checkit@checkit.is to ensure the payment is connected to the right trip in our system.

I paid for the wrong location?

Pay for the right location. Then send us information at checkit@checkit.is with plate number, first 6 and last 4 number in the card that was used. Then we will refund the payment for the wrong location.

I paid for the wrong license plate number?

Can you send us the right license plate number, what location and the date of the visit. checkit@checkit.is

You can pay online on https://www.checkit.is 

Do I need to pay for just few minutes driving in and out?

No, a few minutes drive in and out does not require payment. 

I was charged twice/I paid twice for one visit?

Could you please provide me with the first 6 and last 4 digits of your card number, location and the date of the visit to help our accounting team find the payment. checkit@checkit.is

I was charged a fee for not paying but i paid?

Could you send us the receipt or plate number, location and date of the visit. checkit@checkit.is

I forgot to pay?

You can pay online at https://www.checkit.is/en/pay. Then send us the receipt and we will sort things out.
